Chances Castlegar would love to work with you to create a fantastic event for whatever your catering, business meeting or entertainment needs may be.  If you are planning a festive company Christmas party, convention, business meeting, retirement party, birthday party or any type of get-together we would love to work with you to create a fabulous event.  Our facility can accommodate groups from 5 – 150 people and sometimes even more with the use of our restaurant.  Please contact our Food and Beverage Manager to discuss the endless possibilities for your next event!

Rise and Shine
Coffee, assortment of herbal teas, granola, yogurt, bagels and cream cheese, whole fresh seasonal fruit, orange and apple juice

$29.99 Per Person

Plus 15% gratuity and applicable taxes

Muffin, Coffee and Tea = $4.95 per person

Bagels and Cream Cheese, Fruit Salad, Yogurt, Granola, Coffee and Juice = $9.95 per person

Fresh Baked Cookies, Ice Tea and assorted Soda = $4.95 per person

These are just suggestions and can offer a variety of meeting break options. Please do not hesitate to inquire about any suggestions you may have.

Our menus are only suggestions for you and we are more than happy to work with you to create a custom menu if you do not see something you like. Menus selection must be complete at least one week prior to your event. Food service times are binding in order to ensure quality of food. Chances Castlegar cannot allow left over food and beverage to leave a catered event. No outside food or drinks allowed except store bought celebration cakes.   All events must have an approved function detail sheet approved at least a week in advance.

Guaranteed Number of Guests
A guarantee of the number of guest must be confirmed no later than 72 hours (3 business days) prior to your event.   The guest will be charged either for the guaranteed number of guests or actual number of guests served. Whichever number is greater. We will set and prepare for 5% more than the guaranteed number.

A 15% gratuity will be applied to all food and beverage services. This service charge is divided amongst all staff contributing to the success of your function.

Guests are encouraged to bring in their own decorations to enhance the look of our banquet room. Please no confetti or sparkles as this can be difficult to clean up afterwards. Please no nails, staples or tacks to be used on walls. To affix signs or décor to walls only masking tape is permissible. All outside decorations must be taken with you at the end of the night unless otherwise approved. Chances Castlegar does not accept responsibility for any lost or stolen items left in banquet room facilities.

Liquor Regulations
Chances Castlegar is a 19+ environment and does not allow minors. We follow strict BC Liquor regulations and will not allow intoxicated patrons to remain in the facility.

The use of Chances Gaming Center Castlegar’s name and/or logo must be approved by the Food and Beverage Manager or the facility General Manager.
